Golf Club Members Terms & Conditions

Please read below important notes to consider when becoming a golf club members at The Abbey Hotel:

The Abbey Golf Club Committee and the management of the Abbey Hotel reserve the right to interview all new applicants and reject any membership at sole discretion.
It is preferable to have your application nominated and seconded by a current Golf member but this is not a requirement.
Proof of handicap from another club should be attached to your application and it should be made clear whether The Abbey Golf Club will be your home club. If you already hold a handicap your UPN number should also be advised at time of application.
Ladies share equal playing rights as gentlemen.
There is no 9 hole green fee rate shown (except for clubman) as this rate may only be paid within 3 hours of twilight, or as and when determined by the Management.
Anyone wishing to upgrade from 5 day to 7 day membership will be liable to pay the differential between the joining fee already paid and the 7 day joining fee of £200. Upgrading from Clubman to full membership will be subject to the relevant joining fee and availability.
Weekend rates will apply on Bank Holidays.
