Great Golfing Break

Our group of 17 thoroughly enjoyed the 3 day stay. The rooms were super clean and comfortable, and all the facilities were excellent. What stood out was the friendly and helpful manner of staff throughout the hotel, nothing was too much trouble.

The buffet breakfast was excellent with a large and varied choice, and the evening dinner was reasonable (small portions only of fairly unimaginative vegetables on both nights).

The golf course was in excellent condition, the greens were absolutely superb, but the course proved very long even playing off the forward tees, and the rough was punishingly long if you missed the fairway.

The Abbey is located near the motorway network and is easy to find. We'll certainly consider returning in the future.
