Looking for a great fun activity for the kids? Superb junior golf lessons and junior golf membership is available at the 4 star Abbey Golf Club in Redditch, South Birmingham

All of our Golf Professionals are CRB certified and The Abbey Golf Club has attained Golf Mark accreditation which signifies that the coaching and playing facilities meet the highest standards for juniors. The enviroment is fun, enjoyable and welcoming to young golfers and child protection amd duty of care needs are met by all involved.

New Junior Golf Membership

Here at The Abbey Hotel, South Birmingham we are actively looking to recruit new junior members and have now set up a new JUNIOR ACADEMY MEMBERSHIP for ages 14 and under.

This affordable membership category is ideal for youngsters looking to progress into playing regular golf with friends or parents after perhaps having had a series of junior group or individual coaching sessions.

From ONLY £95.00 per year and no joining fee. This entitles any boy or girl aged 8 – 14 to unlimited golf Monday to Friday and after 12pm on weekends (no extra green fees payable).

Our juniors will also receive:

Free coaching on selected dates throughout the year
The opportunity to attain an official handicap (max 45 for boys and 54 for girls)
Junior competitions & fun events
Advice & guidance from our PGA Professionals

Our Membership year runs from April 1st so fees can be paid on a Pro-Rata basis throughout the year. (See our Pro-Rata fees on the tarrif page).

Junior Golf Lessons

Only £5.00 per child
Available Saturday mornings 10.00am - 11.00am & 11.00am - 12.00pm

Half term junior group golf lessons include:

Short game challenges and competitions
Chance to play some holes on the golf course
Bring your own packed lunch or buy lunch from Tawnys Bar
Swing check on our new Driving Range

Junior Membership Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions of Junior Academy Membership:

Must be age 14 or under during the membership year (1st April – 31st March).
Prospective members with no previous coaching/playing experience – will be subject to a free 15 min assessment with one of our PGA Professionals.
Members will only be entitled to sign in adults (over 18’s) at the standard guest fees. No junior guest fees are available.
Tee times must be booked in advance (up to 3 weeks).
Juniors are not entitled to use ride-on buggies.
Membership can be terminated at anytime if club rules are not adhered to.
Please note under 15s are not allowed on the Abbey Driving Range without supervision from an adult.
